The Great Experiment

I recently retired from the U.S. Navy after 30 years of service. I’m now lucky enough to live and work as a contractor in Italy. My military experience and opportunity to live abroad have given me a unique perspective on politics, religion, and a wide array of controversial topics. While in the military, the discussion of any controversial or personal topic was off limits – – but it is now fair game since I have left the fleet. If my post makes your blood boil, that is ok.
